Part of their vision to make the retail side of the business run more smoothly relied on the installation of a Wireless solution across all of their retail stores, complemented by a fully Managed Service to ensure maximum uptime.
One of the key drivers for the Wi-Fi Installation in retail stores was to ensure shelves were fully stocked at all times, maximising sales opportunities. Shelf edge labelling systems also ensure up to date pricing information and price markdown are managed more efficiently, and with less staff intervention.
The technology installed in store also helps to run the T&A software for staff rosters, cutting down on the administration required to manage the Home Bargains workforce and their associated shifts and pay.
And with an increased emphasis on customer experience and the need to be “connected”, guest Wi-Fi can now be offered; particularly important as shoppers spend longer in the larger stores with coffee shops and garden centres.
How Jade helped
Jade has successfully supplied a full end to end managed Wi-Fi solution for all Home Bargains retail stores, with 350 stores already having Wi-Fi in place, and all new stores upon opening, with 60 new stores planned to open this year. WiFi will be rolled out to all remaining stores by the end of 2021.
The solution delivered to TJ Morris is the Retail Stores Cloud Managed Wireless LAN & Managed Service comprising; KCOM Connectivity – fixed line, Cisco Routers, Extreme Switches, Cloud Managed Software & Access Points, Hosted Fortinet Firewalls, configuration, structured cabling, installation & a Managed Service agreement.
As part of the Managed Service agreement, the Jade Service Desk are on hand to ensure full support and maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostics, with an experienced team of customer service representatives and technical engineers on hand to help and to offer next day on-site repairs to failed equipment.
